RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. has announced the receipt of a significant work order from North Central Railway valued at Rs 22.75 crore (inclusive of tax). The domestic project is scheduled for completion by April 30, 2026, according to the company’s regulatory filing on May 2, 2025.
The order, awarded through a Letter of Acceptance (LOA), falls under the category of infrastructure project contracts and does not involve any related-party transactions. RailTel clarified that there is no promoter interest in the awarding entity.
The work order was formally received on May 1, 2025, at 4:20 PM, and RailTel confirmed there has been no delay in disclosure.
This contract reinforces RailTel’s strong positioning in government digital infrastructure projects, especially within the Indian Railways ecosystem.
