RailTel Corporation of India Ltd., a leading telecom and ICT service provider under the Ministry of Railways, has secured a significant work order from the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) for Comprehensive Cyber Security Intelligence Services. The contract is valued at Rs. 18,56,21,527 (including taxes).
The three-year contract will focus on delivering advanced cyber security solutions to strengthen IRCTC’s IT infrastructure. Payments for the project will be annual, and a 5% Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG) has been stipulated as part of the agreement. The execution timeline for the project is set until September 30, 2028.
This contract highlights RailTel’s growing role in providing specialized cyber security services to government entities and demonstrates its commitment to safeguarding critical digital infrastructure.
The work order was officially received on September 8, 2025. Notably, this domestic contract does not involve any related party transactions or interests of promoters in the awarding entity.
