RailTel Corporation of India has secured a fresh international order worth about ₹14.40 crore from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). The company announced that it received the Letter of Acceptance on 5 December 2025, appointing RailTel as the Project Implementing Agency for procuring and supplying 2,000 AI-enabled laptops.
The contract covers both supply and service components, positioning RailTel as the key agency responsible for delivering the laptops and handling associated implementation tasks. The project is scheduled to be completed by 4 March 2026.
RailTel confirmed that the order has no related-party involvement and is awarded entirely on an arm’s-length basis. The work order was officially received at 8:08 PM on 5 December 2025.
