RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. has bagged a significant work order valued at ₹136 crore from a Defence Sector customer. The order involves the hiring of telecom links (P2P Lease Lines), aimed at strengthening secure and reliable communication networks for defence operations.
As per the company’s exchange filing, the contract has been awarded by a domestic entity, with the project slated for completion by January 29, 2027. RailTel confirmed that the order does not involve any related-party transactions or promoter interests.
The work order was officially received on October 30, 2025, marking another major milestone for RailTel in expanding its government and defence sector portfolio.
