Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for a significant project valued at ₹284 crore from the East Coast Railway.
This extensive project involves constructing the 3rd and 4th lines between Jarapada and Talcher Road and a new line between Angul and Balram under the MCRL Inner Corridor Phase-I Doubling, spanning 14 kilometers.
The scope includes executing balance earthwork, minor and major bridges, track linking, supply of ballast, and installing S&T buildings and level crossings. The contract, which also covers station yards and other miscellaneous works, is slated for completion within 24 months. This contract underscores RVNL’s ongoing role in enhancing India’s railway infrastructure network.
