Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a Government of India enterprise, has announced the receipt of a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from South Central Railway for an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract valued at ₹625.08 crore (inclusive of GST). The project involves the doubling of the track between Parbhani and Parli stations, spanning 58.06 km in Maharashtra, excluding Gangakhed Yard (6.775 km). In addition to the track doubling, the project will also include electrification and signaling works.

This major contract is part of the South Central Railway’s initiative to improve rail infrastructure and connectivity within the region. The project execution period has been set at 30 months, with the work expected to significantly enhance rail transport efficiency and capacity.

The project cost for the doubling of track, electrification, and signaling works amounts to ₹625.08 crore (Rupees Six Hundred Twenty-Five Crore Eight Lakh Thirty-Four Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy-Four and Paisa Ninety-Five Only). The contract is domestic in nature and will be executed entirely within India, aligning with the government’s push for infrastructure development under its national agenda.

RVNL confirmed that no related party transactions are involved in this contract, and the promoters or promoter group do not have any interests in the awarding entity. This ensures transparency and compliance with all regulatory norms.
