PVV Infra Ltd. on Friday announced a major strategic move into renewable energy, with its board approving a ₹30 crore investment in a solar power project, alongside a leadership appointment

Solar project investment

The company has signed a Letter of Intent with Aqua Dynamics Green Energy Pvt. Ltd., which has secured renewable energy projects totaling 9 MW of solar power generation from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL).

PVV Infra will initially acquire a 49% stake in Aqua Dynamics Green Energy, with the remaining 51% to be taken over upon project completion. The total investment will be fully funded by PVV Infra, with land acquisition already complete and project development underway. Commercial operations are expected to begin by April 2026, generating long-term revenues for 25 years.

The company said the move aligns with its strategy to expand in India’s renewable energy sector, as the country targets 500 GW of renewable capacity by 2030.

New appointment

The board also approved the appointment of Mr. Nitin Sinha as an Additional Director in the executive director category, effective September 5, 2025. Sinha, a postgraduate in Business Administration from Pune University, brings over 25 years of experience spanning renewable energy, infrastructure, real estate, agro-trading, cold storage, and advanced manufacturing.

PVV Infra said his expertise across multiple industries will support its diversification into high-growth sectors, particularly green energy.
