Protean eGov Technologies Limited has informed stock exchanges that Mr. Suresh Sethi has tendered his resignation from the position of managing director and chief executive officer. The resignation was submitted on January 16, 2026, and his last working day will be March 31, 2026, in line with the disclosure made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The decision was approved by the board of directors at its meeting held on January 16, 2026. Following his resignation, Mr. Sethi will also cease to be a member of all board committees with effect from the close of business hours on March 31, 2026, or earlier, subject to any reconstitution by the board. The company stated that the resignation has been submitted to enable him to pursue other interests.
Protean eGov Technologies noted that during his tenure, Mr. Sethi was associated with the company’s transition into a digital public infrastructure-focused organisation. The period also included the company’s public listing, a rebranding exercise, and an expansion of its business presence across domestic and international markets. The board recorded its appreciation for his contributions during this phase.
As part of the leadership transition, the board has approved the appointment of Mr. V Easwaran, currently executive director and chief operating officer, as interim chief executive officer. His appointment will take effect from April 1, 2026, and he will oversee the company’s operations during the interim period.
