Prostarm Info Systems has announced that it has received the final Letter of Award (LOA) from Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited (BSPGCL) for setting up a 30MW/120MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Bihar. The company confirmed the development in a filing to the stock exchanges on August 7, 2025, under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations.

The project will operate under the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) mode and will be set up at different Grid Sub-Station (GSS) locations of Bihar State Power Transmission Company Limited (BSPTCL). The awarded project includes Viability Gap Funding (VGF) support and will run on a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) model for a tenure of 12 years.

According to the company’s disclosure, the rental has been fixed at ₹4.44 lakh per MW per month, translating to an annual rental of ₹15.98 crore for the 30MW capacity. The final LOA was received at 7:07 p.m. on August 7, 2025.
