Pricol Limited, a leading automotive technology company, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BOE Varitronix Limited, a Hong Kong–based display technology provider. The MoU was signed on September 30, 2025, in Coimbatore at 2:05 PM IST.

The collaboration aims to localize the optical bonding of LCD and TFT displays in India, specifically for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, commercial vehicles, and off-road vehicles. Under the agreement, Pricol and BOE will work together to bring advanced display solutions to the Indian automotive market.

In the initial phase, the partnership will focus on optical bonding (OCA). In later stages, both companies may expand into additional backend assembly activities to strengthen the local supply chain.

BOE Varitronix is known globally for its cutting-edge display and optical bonding technologies. Pricol expects this tie-up to enhance its competitiveness, reduce costs, promote localization, and drive innovation in instrument cluster solutions for the Indian market.

The company clarified that the MoU is not a related-party transaction, and no consideration has been paid or received for the agreement.
