Premier Energies’ subsidiary, Premier Energies Global Environment Pvt Ltd, has announced plans to set up a 1 GW solar photovoltaic TOPCon module manufacturing facility in Telangana, India. The state-of-the-art facility will be located at EMC Maheeshwaram on leasehold premises provided by the Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC).
In the exchange filing Premier Energies shared, “The company and the Board of Directors of Premier Energies Global Environment Private Limited (Wholly Owned Subsidiary) have approved the establishment of a 1 GW Solar Photovoltaic TOPCon Module manufacturing facility. The facility will be located at EMC Maheeshwaram, Telangana on leasehold premises owned by TGIIC (Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation).”
Scheduled for completion by March 2025, this project is part of Premier Energies’ strategic expansion to bolster its manufacturing capacity as outlined in its offer document. This new facility will strengthen India’s renewable energy infrastructure and enhance the country’s solar module production capabilities.
