Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (POWERGRID) has released its financial results for the second quarter of FY 2024-25, showcasing steady performance. The company reported total revenue from operations at ₹11,277.76 crore, reflecting a slight year-on-year decrease from ₹11,267.07 crore in Q2 FY24. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, the revenue marked a growth from ₹11,006.18 crore in Q1 FY25.

In terms of profitability, POWERGRID recorded a net profit of ₹3,793.02 crore for Q2 FY25, which is an improvement over the previous quarter’s profit of ₹3,723.92 crore but a decline from ₹3,781.42 crore in the same period last year.

In addition to its financial results, POWERGRID declared an interim dividend of ₹4.50 per share for FY 2024-25, which will be payable on December 4, 2024. The board also approved the sale of a 26% stake in four of its associate companies to POWERGRID Infrastructure Investment Trust, a move expected to streamline its operational focus and enhance asset efficiency.
