Power & Instrumentation (Gujarat) Limited (PIGL) announced on Thursday that it has received a work order worth Rs 34.56 crore (including taxes) from Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (AVVNL) for a major power infrastructure development project in Rajasthan.
The contract involves the supply, erection, installation, testing, and commissioning of materials and equipment for the development of distribution infrastructure work for segregation of 11 KV mixed feeders at the Salumbar Circle of Ajmer Discom under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS). The project will be executed on a turnkey basis within 15 months.
This order, awarded by a domestic entity, highlights PIGL’s growing footprint in power infrastructure modernization and strengthens its position as a key contributor to India’s energy distribution network.
The company confirmed that the project does not fall under related-party transactions and that neither the promoters nor group companies have any interest in the awarding entity.
