Power and Instrumentation (Gujarat) Limited (PIGL) has received a work order worth Rs 68.22 crore (including taxes) from Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (AVVNL) for the development of distribution infrastructure under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).
The contract involves supply, erection, installation, testing, and commissioning of materials and equipment for the segregation of 11 KV mixed feeders at the Dungarpur Circle of Ajmer Discom in Rajasthan. The project is to be executed on a turnkey basis and completed within 15 months.
The company confirmed that the order has been awarded by a domestic entity, and neither the promoters nor any related parties have any interest in the awarding body.
This contract win marks another milestone for Power and Instrumentation (Gujarat) Limited, reinforcing its expertise in executing large-scale power infrastructure projects under national energy reform programs.
