Polycab India Limited has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) for the significant “Development, Upgradation, Operation & Maintenance of the Middle Mile Network of Bharat Net.” This prestigious project, structured under the Design Build Operate and Maintain (DBOM) Model, focuses on enhancing connectivity across Karnataka, Goa and Puducherry.
The scope of work for Polycab includes three years of network construction, followed by ten years of maintenance, divided into a tiered rate of 5.5% of the capital expenditure per annum for the first five years and 6.5% for the following five years. The total contract value is approximately ₹4,099 crore.
This milestone strengthens Polycab’s position in the infrastructure and telecommunications sectors, reflecting its commitment to advancing India’s digital landscape.
