PNC Infratech Ltd announced on July 16, 2025, that it has been declared as one of the L1 (lowest) bidders by NHPC Limited for setting up a 300 MW ISTS-connected solar power project along with a 150 MW / 600 MWh Energy Storage System (ESS) anywhere in India.

The tender was part of NHPC’s bid for 1,200 MW ISTS solar power projects with 600 MW / 2,400 MWh ESS, awarded under Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) with a green shoe option.

PNC secured the allocation at a quoted tariff of ₹3.13/kWh through an online reverse auction held on July 15, 2025.
