PNC Infratech Limited has announced that it has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the Airports Authority of India (AAI) for the development of Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, Varanasi. The official LoA was received on October 15, 2025, confirming PNC Infratech as the lowest (L1) bidder for the project.

The awarded contract includes extension, re-carpeting, and strengthening of the existing runway, along with other allied infrastructure works. The total project value stands at ₹297.01 crore (exclusive of GST), and it is scheduled to be completed within 18 months from the date of commencement.

The project, awarded by a domestic entity (AAI), marks another significant milestone for PNC Infratech in the aviation infrastructure space. The company has reaffirmed that there is no promoter or promoter group interest involved in the project.

With this new win, PNC Infratech continues to strengthen its position as a leading infrastructure player in India, expanding its portfolio across roads, highways, and now major airport development works.
