Punjab National Bank (PNB) has announced major changes to its senior management structure, effective December 1, 2025, according to the regulatory filing submitted under SEBI (LODR) Regulation 30.
The bank has appointed Shri Pratap Keshari Mallick as the new Group Chief Risk Officer (GCRO). Mallick previously served as General Manager, Integrated Risk Management Division, at the bank’s Head Office. He holds a Bachelor of Legislative Law, a Master’s degree in Economics, and an MBA in Finance. He is also a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) with over 19 years of banking experience.
In another change, Shri Surindar Pal Singh has been elevated from General Manager, BA & RM Division, to Chief General Manager of the same division at the Head Office. Singh is a Bachelor of Science and MBA (Marketing), and also a CAIIB-certified banker with 23 years of experience.
The filing further notes that Shri Vinish Kumar Chawla, previously Zonal Manager (Designated), DGM, Zonal Office Ahmedabad, has been elevated to Zonal Manager–General Manager at the same location. Chawla holds a Bachelor of Commerce, is CAIIB-certified, and has 31 years of banking experience.
Additionally, Shri Sanjay Varshneya, Chief General Manager of the Financial Inclusion Division, has vacated office upon superannuation.
PNB stated that the changes have been made in compliance with SEBI guidelines, and the exchange has been requested to take the updates on record.
