Piramal Pharma has reported a fire incident at a third-party warehouse in Annaram, Telangana, which occurred during the night of August 6, 2025. In a regulatory filing under SEBI Regulation 30, the company stated that the warehouse in question housed a portion of its inventory and that the fire has been brought largely under control. Emergency response teams acted promptly to contain the damage.
According to the company, “We have been informed by the third-party warehouse personnel that the fire is largely under control and emergency response actions were promptly undertaken. The cause of the fire is not yet known and is under investigation.”
The company estimates that the value of the inventory affected by the incident is around ₹45 crore. However, Piramal Pharma has confirmed that this inventory is adequately covered by insurance. “The process for insurance claim has already commenced,” the company added.
In response to the incident, Piramal Pharma stated, “We are taking all necessary steps to address the situation and are in the process of working with the suppliers for restoration of inventory and with customers to plan for resumption of supplies.”
