Piccadily Agro Industries Limited, the maker of India’s fast-growing Indri single malt whisky, has launched its latest expression—Indri Founder’s Reserve 11-Year-Old Single Malt Whisky. This limited-edition release honours the legacy of Pt. Kidar Nath Sharma, founder of the Piccadily Group, and represents a new milestone in India’s whisky landscape.
Matured for 11 years in ex-Bordeaux red wine casks, this single malt reflects the impact of the unique climate at the Indri distillery in northern India. The region experiences a wide range of temperatures, which accelerates the ageing process and results in a full-bodied, complex whisky.
Indri Founder’s Reserve 11-Year-Old is bottled at 50% ABV for the Indian market and 58.5% ABV for international markets. The whisky presents a deep amber colour, with aromas of dark fruits and warm spices. On the palate, it reveals notes of caramelized nuts and vanilla, finishing with hints of oak and a subtle wine-influenced sweetness.
Only 1,100 bottles of this release are available globally, with 550 allocated to India and 550 to select international markets. The expression has already received recognition from global competitions, including a Gold at the World Whisky Awards 2025 and a Platinum Award at the Las Vegas Global Spirits Awards.
With this release, Piccadily Agro Industries continues to highlight India’s growing presence in the premium single malt category. The Indri Founder’s Reserve 11-Year-Old offers a glimpse into India’s evolving whisky craftsmanship and the company’s long-term commitment to quality and innovation in the spirits industry.
