Petronet LNG Limited reported its financial results for the third quarter of FY25, reflecting a decline in both revenue and profit compared to the same period last year. The company’s revenue from operations stood at ₹12,226.86 crore, marking a 17.1% drop from ₹14,747.21 crore reported in Q3 FY24. Profit after tax was ₹866.59 crore, a decline of 27.2% from ₹1,190.30 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The decline in revenue and profitability is attributed to lower LNG imports and reduced global demand impacting realizations. The company’s operating metrics saw a subdued performance due to market dynamics and competitive pressures.

Despite these challenges, Petronet LNG continues to focus on long-term growth by investing in infrastructure and capacity expansion. The company reiterated its commitment to enhancing shareholder value and adapting to market changes.
