PC Jeweller has taken a significant step toward expanding its retail presence and supporting youth entrepreneurship in Uttar Pradesh. The jewellery retailer has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the CM YUVA Mission under the Department of MSME and Export Promotion, Government of Uttar Pradesh, aimed at entrepreneurship development and employment generation across the state.
The agreement, signed on December 19, 2025 and received by the company on December 23, 2025, follows earlier approval granted to PC Jeweller for onboarding as a Franchise Brand on the CM YUVA Portal. This approval was part of the company’s proposal to establish up to 1,000 jewellery retail franchise units, enabling aspiring entrepreneurs to participate in the organised jewellery retail ecosystem.
Under the MoU, PC Jeweller and the CM YUVA Mission will work together to create an enabling entrepreneurial environment focused on youth employability and self-employment. The initiative is designed to support innovation-driven enterprise creation while contributing to the broader economic development of Uttar Pradesh.
For PC Jeweller, the partnership provides an opportunity to expand its retail footprint through a franchise-led model, particularly in emerging and underserved markets within the state. At the same time, it aligns the company with a government-backed program that promotes sustainable employment and skill development among the youth.
