Paras Defence and Space Technologies Limited (Paras Defence) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Israel-based MicroCon Vision Ltd., a part of CONTROP and the Rafael Group. This strategic partnership aims to strengthen India’s capabilities in Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) technologies.
MicroCon specializes in designing, developing, and manufacturing ISR payloads and Electro-Optical/Infra-Red (EO/IR) seekers for drones and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). As per the agreement, Paras Defence and MicroCon will collaborate exclusively in India on Micro ISR payloads, paving the way for advanced surveillance and defense solutions.
This partnership aligns with India’s focus on self-reliance in defense technology and enhances indigenous capabilities in UAV and drone-based ISR applications. By leveraging MicroCon’s expertise and Paras Defence’s market presence, the collaboration is set to boost innovation and defense preparedness in the region.
