Paras Defence and Space Technologies Limited has announced the signing of a Licensing Agreement for Transfer of Technology (ToT) with the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The agreement pertains to the Driver Night Sight (DNS) technology for the T-90 main battle tank.
The DNS system is a key electro-optical solution designed to enhance a tank driver’s visibility and operational effectiveness during night-time and low-light conditions. Through this ToT arrangement, DRDO will transfer complete technology and documentation to Paras Defence, enabling the company to manufacture and supply the system indigenously.
This development supports India’s broader objectives of defence indigenisation and strengthens Paras Defence’s position in the domestic electro-optics and defence equipment space.
