Paras Defence and Space Technologies Limited has announced that it has received incremental orders from Opto Electronics Factory (OLF), a unit of India Optel Ltd., Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The fresh orders are valued at approximately ₹26.6 crore, including taxes, and are for the supply of Electronic Control Systems used in Thermal Imaging Fire Control Systems (TIFCS) for battle tank applications.

With this additional order, the cumulative value of contracts for TIFCS Electronic Control Systems now stands at about ₹141.63 crore (including taxes). The systems include critical components such as Control Panels for Ballistic Computers, Gun Positioning Systems, and other subsystems, which will be delivered by OLF to the Indian Armed Forces.

The execution of the newly awarded contract will take place between December 2025 and September 2026. Paras Defence confirmed that the order has been awarded by a domestic entity and does not fall under related party transactions.

Earlier orders for the same programme were valued at ₹115.03 crore, and this latest addition strengthens Paras Defence’s position as a key supplier to India’s defence sector, especially in advanced opto-electronics and control systems for armoured platforms.
