Pace Digitek Limited announced a major business milestone after its material subsidiary, Lineage Power Private Limited, secured a high-value contract from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). The strategic order, valued at approximately ₹94.35 crore, positions Lineage Power as a key partner in strengthening BSNL’s nationwide telecom power infrastructure.
The order involves the supply and deployment of 25,000 advanced lithium-ion battery modules with a capacity of 100 AH at 48V, along with 2,500 rugged IP55-rated racks. These systems are designed for both indoor and outdoor applications and will be configured into high-capacity battery sets ranging from 300 AH to 1200 AH. Such configurations are critical for ensuring uninterrupted power availability across modern telecom networks, particularly in high-load and remote operating environments.
This large-scale deployment is aimed at enhancing network reliability and operational efficiency across BSNL circles in India. The batteries will be integrated seamlessly with existing SMPS equipment using standardized communication protocols, ensuring compatibility and minimizing implementation challenges during rollout.
A key aspect of the contract is its long-term service commitment. The supply is backed by an industry-leading five-year comprehensive warranty, followed by a five-year Annual Maintenance Contract. This ten-year support lifecycle reflects a strong focus on durability, sustainability, and long-term performance of critical telecom infrastructure assets.
Security and compliance form another core pillar of the project. Lineage Power will ensure that all Battery Management Systems supplied under the order are registered on the Telecom Trusted Portal. In addition, the systems will undergo stringent TSEC and TAC certification processes, aligning fully with national security guidelines and telecom quality standards.
Commenting on the development, Chairman and Managing Director Venugopal Rao Maddisetty said the order underlines Lineage Power’s commitment to deploying energy-efficient and reliable power solutions. The company highlighted its role in supporting uninterrupted connectivity for millions of users across the country through advanced power technology.
Execution of the order will be carried out through a coordinated five-month rollout across BSNL circles nationwide. Once completed, the deployment is expected to significantly improve network stability, reduce downtime risks, and support BSNL’s evolving telecom requirements.
