Oswal Pumps Limited has secured a major order from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the supply and installation of 13,738 Off-Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) under the PM-KUSUM B Scheme “Magel Tyala Saur Krishi Pump” Yojana. The company disclosed the development in an exchange filing dated December 11, 2025.
According to the filing, the total value of the order stands at Rs 380 crore (including GST), and the project is to be executed within one year from issuance. The empanelment and award letter officially assign Oswal Pumps the responsibility of delivering, installing, testing and commissioning the solar pumping systems across farmer sites in Maharashtra.
As per the annexure details, the contract covers design, manufacturing, supply, transport, installation, testing and commissioning of systems in 3 HP, 5 HP and 7.5 HP capacities. The scope also includes a complete system warranty, repair and maintenance, and integration of a Remote Monitoring System (RMS) for a five-year period.
The award letter is valid for one year, while installation work must be completed within 60 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed or work order. The company also confirmed that there is no promoter or related-party interest in the awarding entity.
Oswal Pumps, headquartered in Haryana and known for its solar and submersible pump products, will now take up one of its largest renewable-energy-linked assignments under the government’s solar irrigation programme.
