Oriental Rail Infrastructure Limited (ORIL) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Oriental Foundry Private Limited (OFPL), has received a significant order from the Railway Board, Ministry of Railways. The contract, valued at Rs 60.87 crore, involves the manufacture and supply of 1,05,000 Constant Side Bearers (CCSB) for BG Bogie Wagons.
According to the filing, OFPL will execute the order within 18 months from the date of the purchase order. Payment terms specify that 90% of the value will be released against inspection certificates and proof of dispatch, while the remaining 10% will be settled upon receipt and acceptance of the stores.
The contract was awarded by the Railway Board through its e-tender process, and ORIL clarified that there is no promoter or related-party interest involved in the transaction.
This development marks another milestone for Oriental Rail Infrastructure in strengthening its presence in the Indian Railways supply ecosystem.
