NTPC Green Energy has hit a major milestone with its Shajapur Solar Project in Madhya Pradesh now fully up and running. The company announced that the final 120 MW phase of the 220 MW Unit-II project has officially entered commercial operation from midnight, June 29, 2025.
This marks the successful commissioning of the entire solar power facility by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy.
In the exchange filings, the company shared, “We wish to inform you that consequent upon successful commissioning, third and last part capacity of 120 MW out of 220 MW Shajapur Solar Project (Unit-II) of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited at Shajapur, M.P, is declared on Commercial Operation w.e.f. 00:00 Hrs. of 29.06.2025.”
