NTPC Green Energy Limited, a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has announced the commercial operation of additional solar power capacities under its Bhainsara and Shajapur Solar Projects.
Key Updates:
- Bhainsara Solar PV Project:
- Second part capacity of 60 MW out of a total 320 MW has been declared commercially operational, effective January 7, 2025.
- Previously, 160 MW capacity was declared operational on August 28, 2024, bringing the total operational capacity to 220 MW.
- Shajapur Solar Project:
- Second part capacity of 50 MW under Unit-II, out of a total 220 MW, is set to commence commercial operations from January 10, 2025.
- The first part capacity of 50 MW began operations on September 30, 2024, making the total operational capacity 100 MW.
