NTPC Green Energy Limited, a subsidiary of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, has successfully declared the commercial operation of the first phase (37.5 MW) of its 200 MW Gujarat Solar PV Project located in Sadla, Gujarat.

The project, awarded under the GUVNL/500 MW/Solar (Phase XI) tender, commenced its operations on December 21, 2024. This milestone marks a significant step towards the company’s commitment to renewable energy and sustainability.

The certificate for this achievement was issued by the Gujarat Energy Development Agency on December 26, 2024. NTPC Green Energy continues to expand its renewable energy portfolio as part of its efforts to meet growing energy demands while minimizing environmental impact.

I the exchange filing, the company shared, “We wish to inform you that on the basis of certificate dated 26.12.2024 issued by Gujarat Energy Development Agency, first part capacity of 37.5 MW out of 200 MW Gujarat Solar PV Project in Sadla, Gujarat awarded under GUVNL/500 MW/Solar (Phase XI) tender, of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited) is declared on Commercial Operation w.e.f. 21.12.2024.”

In the meantime, NTPC Green Energy shares opened today at ₹126.00, reaching a high of ₹133.30 and a low of ₹124.30 during the session. The stock has a 52-week high of ₹155.35 and a low of ₹111.50, showcasing its price fluctuations.
