NTPC Limited has successfully commissioned a 245 MW capacity at its Nokh Solar PV Project in Rajasthan. The project was officially declared on March 26, 2025.

With this addition, NTPC’s total installed and commercial capacity now stands at 59,413 MW on a standalone basis and 77,806.50 MW at the group level. This milestone reinforces NTPC’s commitment to expanding its renewable energy portfolio and supporting India’s clean energy transition.

The Nokh Solar PV Project is a key step in NTPC’s sustainability initiatives, aligning with the country’s goal of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030. The project will significantly contribute to reducing carbon emissions and promoting green energy adoption in India.

NTPC continues to be a leader in power generation, focusing on renewables, sustainability, and energy efficiency. With multiple solar, wind, and hybrid projects in the pipeline, the company is set to further enhance its renewable energy footprint.
