Nova Agritech Limited reported solid financial performance for the quarter ending December 31, 2024, with improvements in both top-line and bottom-line figures. The company’s results reflect increased operational efficiency and growing demand for its agricultural products.
The company’s total revenue for Q3 FY25 stood at Rs 88.38 crore, up by 12.35% compared to Rs 78.48 crore in Q3 FY24. This growth is attributed to higher sales volumes and optimized pricing strategies that have supported revenue expansion. The company’s other income contributed marginally to the overall income, amounting to Rs 0.19 crore compared to Rs 0.18 crore in the year-ago period.
Net profit for the quarter rose to Rs 10.55 crore, marking a 9.43% increase compared to Rs 9.64 crore in the same period last year. This improvement in profitability highlights Nova Agritech’s ability to manage expenses effectively while boosting revenue. Profit before tax for the quarter was Rs 13.93 crore, up from Rs 12.30 crore in Q3 FY24, showcasing strong operating performance.
The company’s total expenses for the quarter increased to Rs 74.45 crore compared to Rs 66.18 crore in Q3 FY24, reflecting higher raw material costs and employee benefit expenses. Despite the rise in costs, efficient inventory management and control over other operational expenses helped maintain profitability. Notably, the company reported a decline in finance costs to Rs 1.14 crore compared to Rs 2.22 crore in the previous year, reflecting effective debt management.
As Nova Agritech moves forward, its strong performance in Q3 reflects a robust growth trajectory, underpinned by solid operational metrics and strategic initiatives in the agricultural sector.
