NMDC has shared its provisional iron ore production and sales figures for April 2025. The company has reported a 15% increase in total iron ore production for April 2025, reaching 4 million tonnes (MT) compared to 3.48 MT in April 2024. The company also saw a modest rise in total sales, which stood at 3.63 MT, up 2.8% from 3.53 MT in the same month last year.

In terms of regional performance, NMDC’s Chhattisgarh operations contributed 2.85 MT to the total production in April 2025, compared to 2.35 MT in April 2024. Sales from this region rose slightly to 2.82 MT, from 2.74 MT a year earlier.

Meanwhile, the Karnataka operations reported a production of 1.15 MT, a slight increase from 1.13 MT in April 2024. Sales from the region grew marginally to 0.81 MT from 0.79 MT.
