Nibe Limited has announced a significant development in its expansion strategy, securing a land allotment for its proposed mega project in Shirdi Industrial Area, Maharashtra. The company has been allotted 3,27,239 Sq. Mts. of land at Plot No. A-1/2 by the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) for setting up a defence manufacturing facility.
This announcement follows the company’s previous intimation on January 10, 2025, and aligns with its long-term strategy to bolster its manufacturing capabilities. The allotment is subject to payment of a premium and compliance with the terms and conditions outlined in MIDC’s letter no. MIDC/RO(AHILYANAGAR)/null/LMS-24/DIS-95955/2025 dated February 10, 2025.
The planned facility will focus on the production of advanced defence products, further strengthening India’s self-reliance in defence manufacturing. With this allocation, Nibe Limited aims to contribute to the government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative by enhancing domestic manufacturing capabilities and fostering job creation in the region.
