Nibe Limited has issued a clarification regarding the acquisition update filed on November 12, stating that the industry classification of the target company, Nibe Meson Naval Limited, was inadvertently mentioned incorrectly in the original submission.
In its filing to BSE and NSE, the company said the earlier disclosure mistakenly stated the industry of Nibe Limited instead of that of the entity being acquired. The board had approved the purchase of a 48.95% equity stake in Nibe Meson Naval Limited at its meeting held on November 12.
According to the revised information submitted by the Company Secretary, Komal Bhagat, the correct industry classification for Nibe Meson Naval Limited is “fluid control equipment manufacturing”, and not “defence,” which appeared in the previous filing.
Nibe Limited added that the clarification should be read along with the earlier board meeting outcome and acquisition disclosure submitted under Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015. The company has requested exchanges to take the updated information on record.
