Nibe Limited announced today that it has been granted the status of “Mega Projects” for its proposed manufacturing facility at MIDC, Shirdi, Taluka Rahata, Ahmednagar district. The project, focused on manufacturing advanced aircraft parts such as vertical stabilizers, jet engines, and fuselage components, is estimated to cost ₹800 crores.
Key Benefits under Mega Project Status:
- Industrial Promotion Subsidy: Up to 100% of eligible investments over five years from April 1, 2025, or equivalent to 100% of SGST payable within the same period, whichever is less.
- Power Tariff Subsidy: Support for reduced energy costs.
- Other Subsidies: Reimbursements and exemptions related to stamp duty, electricity contributions, and PF.
These benefits are part of the Package Scheme of Incentives Policy 2019, provided by the Department of Industries, Energy, and Labour. The project is subject to regulatory approvals and compliance with terms outlined in the grant letter.
