NIBE executes licensing agreement with DRDO for Transfer of Technology in Defense Manufacturing

NIBE has entered into a strategic Licensing Agreement with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India. This agreement, executed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, enables NIBE to acquire technology for the manufacturing and supply of critical defense components.

The agreement includes:

  1. Full Trailer for 70t Tank Transporter for MBT Arjun MK-1A – in collaboration with the Vehicles Research & Development Establishment (VRDE), Ahmednagar.
  2. OPX-Revilator – in partnership with the High Energy Material Research Laboratory (HEMEL), Pune.
  3. Laser Photoacoustic Spectroscopy (LPAS) – in conjunction with the Instruments Research & Development Establishment (IRDE), Dehradun.

These components are intended for exclusive use by the Indian Armed Forces and other government agencies. This technology transfer aligns with India’s self-reliance goals in defense manufacturing and strengthens NIBE’s role in the nation’s defense sector.
