NHPC Limited has announced the commercial operation (COD) of three units (each 200 MW) of its Parbati-II Hydroelectric Project (4×200 MW) located in Himachal Pradesh, with effect from 00:00 hours on April 1, 2025. The company confirmed the development following the successful completion of trial runs.
With this, NHPC has successfully commissioned 600 MW out of the total 800 MW capacity of the project. The trial run and commissioning of Unit #4 (200 MW) will be announced separately in due course.
The update was shared in compliance with Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and follows previous updates issued on October 23, 2023, May 22, 2024, November 13, 2024, March 24, 2025, March 26, 2025, and March 29, 2025.
