Nazara Technologies Limited, India’s leading diversified gaming company, has announced the highly anticipated launch of the popular PC title Bodycam as an island in Fortnite. This marks the first-ever adaptation of Bodycam into Fortnite, introducing its hyper-realistic tactical gameplay to Fortnite’s massive global audience.
Originally known for its photorealistic graphics and immersive combat mechanics on PC, Bodycam has earned a loyal following among FPS enthusiasts. With this new launch, Nazara is bringing the game to Fortnite using the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN), offering high-fidelity visuals, optimized performance, and the creative freedom of Fortnite’s sandbox environment.
The development was a collaborative effort with UEFN creator Virstate and supported by Reissad Studio, the original creators of Bodycam. The Fortnite island blends high-stakes tactical action with community-driven gameplay, optimized for players across console, PC, and mobile platforms.
Built with Unreal Engine 5.3, the island features enhanced lighting, realistic sound effects, and carefully balanced multiplayer mechanics. Players can enjoy two exciting modes: Gun Game and Team Deathmatch, with additional creator-submitted maps expected soon.
This launch highlights Nazara’s strategy to pioneer next-generation global gaming IPs and expand platform convergence by leveraging Fortnite and other emerging platforms to bring both original and third-party games to players worldwide.
It’s important to note that this Fortnite island is independently created and is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Epic Games, Inc.
