Narayana Hrudayalaya Ltd. announced that its wholly owned overseas subsidiary, Health City Cayman Islands Ltd. (HCCI), has infused USD 2.5 million into Cayman Integrated Healthcare Ltd. (CIHL) through subscription of 250,000 ordinary shares at USD 10 each. With this, the total investment of HCCI in CIHL stands at USD 10.55 million.

The infusion, completed on September 12, 2025, aims to meet the working capital requirements of CIHL, a step-down subsidiary of Narayana Hrudayalaya operating in the health insurance sector. CIHL, incorporated in September 2022, reported a gross earned premium of USD 3.9 million in FY25.

The company clarified that while the transaction falls under related party norms, it is between a holding company and its wholly owned subsidiary, consolidated under the parent’s accounts. No regulatory approvals were required for the acquisition, which was carried out on a cash consideration basis.
