State-run manganese miner MOIL Limited announced its best-ever quarterly production for April–June 2025, achieving several milestones that underline its strong operational momentum.
In a statement to stock exchanges, MOIL reported a record June production of 1.68 lakh tonnes of manganese ore, marking a 2% increase over the same month last year.
For the entire April–June quarter, MOIL recorded its highest-ever quarterly production of 5.02 lakh tonnes, which is 6.8% higher compared to the corresponding period last year.
The company also achieved its best-ever Q1 exploratory core drilling of 34,900 meters during the quarter, representing a 16.2% increase over last year.
Commenting on the results, Ajit Kumar Saxena, CMD of MOIL, said the company’s resounding performance in the first quarter of FY26 reflects its robust fundamentals and continued growth outlook.
MOIL, a Government of India enterprise, credited its operational efficiency and sustained demand for manganese ore in domestic and export markets for the record figures.
