MOIL Limited, India’s largest manganese ore producer, has achieved a remarkable milestone with a record production of 1.63 lakh tonnes in November 2024, marking its best November performance since inception. This achievement underscores the company’s consistent growth trajectory.
During the first eight months of FY25, MOIL produced 11.80 lakh tonnes of manganese ore, reflecting an 8.46% increase compared to the same period last year. On the sales front, November 2024 also saw MOIL achieving its highest-ever sales for the month at 1.33 lakh tonnes, a substantial 32% rise over the corresponding period last year (CPLY).
During the first eight months of FY25, MOIL recorded total sales of 9.90 lakh tonnes, up by 4.76% from CPLY.
The company has surpassed a turnover of ₹1,000 crore within 8 months of FY’25, achieving this milestone over a month earlier than in FY24.
MOIL continues to prioritize exploration, completing 63,654 meters of core drilling during April-November 2024—1.28 times more than the same period last year.
Shri Ajit Kumar Saxena, CMD MOIL, stated that it is heartening that the company has maintained its rising trend in production and sales. He went on to say that the MOIL team is gearing up for another excellent fiscal year.
