MOIL Limited has announced its best-ever September production of 1.46 lakh tonnes in 2024, continuing its growth trajectory. The company reported a production of 8.70 lakh tonnes during the first half of the financial year (April to September 2024), marking a 7% growth compared to the corresponding period last year (CPLY).
In addition to production, MOIL also recorded its highest-ever sales for September, with 1.59 lakh tonnes. Sales for the April-September 2024 period reached 7.51 lakh tonnes, remaining nearly level with the previous year despite challenging market conditions.
MOIL has placed significant focus on exploration, completing 50,222 meters of exploratory core drilling up to September 2024, a 1.4x increase over the previous year.
Shri Ajit Kumar Saxena, CMD of MOIL, expressed satisfaction with the production growth in the first half of the year, despite challenging conditions like continued rainfall. He also stated that the MOIL team is prepared to achieve even higher levels of production and sales in the coming months.
