MOIL Limited, a government-owned manganese ore producer, recorded its highest-ever April production in the first month of the financial year 2025–26.

The company produced 1.62 lakh tonnes of manganese ore, marking a 1.5% increase compared to the corresponding period last year (CPLY).

In addition to production gains, MOIL also reported significant progress in its exploration activities. The company completed 11,453 meters of exploratory core drilling during April 2025 — a 58% increase over the same month last year.

MOIL’s Chairman and Managing Director, Ajit Kumar Saxena, noted that this performance provides a strong start to the new fiscal year. He said, “MOIL’s April performance sets a positive tone for the year ahead. The organization remains committed to sustained growth and value creation.”
