Modern Engineering and Projects Limited (MEP) has been awarded a significant contract by Tata Steel Limited valued at ₹61.02 crore (excluding GST). The contract involves the construction of a boundary wall at Tata Steel’s facility in Meramandal, Odisha. The project is expected to span over the next three years, with a completion deadline set for October 31, 2027.
The terms and conditions of the contract adhere to standard industry practices, with no unusual clauses or stipulations. This is a domestic contract, further consolidating MEP’s footprint in India’s infrastructure sector. Additionally, the project does not involve any related party transactions, and there is no interest from MEP’s promoters in Tata Steel, ensuring the deal is conducted at arm’s length.
