Mindteck (India) Limited, a global engineering and technology solutions company, has announced the resignation of its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Anand Balakrishnan, effective May 31, 2025. The announcement was made through an official company statement on March 4, 2025.
Balakrishnan, who has been leading Mindteck for the past five years, has played a crucial role in transforming the company, improving liquidity, and driving sustainable growth. Reflecting on his tenure, he stated that the journey had been both rewarding and challenging, and with Mindteck now well-positioned for continued success, he believed it was the right time for a leadership transition. He cited personal reasons for stepping down and expressed gratitude to employees, customers, partners, shareholders, and the Board for their support.
Commenting on the resignation, Mr. Yusuf Lanewala, Chairman of Mindteck, acknowledged Balakrishnan’s contributions in positioning the company for long-term success. While expressing regret over his departure, he extended best wishes for his future endeavors.
The company’s Board of Directors has formally accepted the resignation, and the Nomination and Remuneration Committee has initiated the process of selecting a suitable successor.
