Metropolis Healthcare Limited on Tuesday announced the incorporation of a new wholly owned subsidiary, Metropolis Quality Solutions Private Limited, effective September 15, 2025.
The newly incorporated entity, registered under the Indian Companies Act, 2013 in Maharashtra, will focus on healthcare technology, specifically the development and delivery of technology-driven products and services in the sector.
According to the filing, Metropolis Healthcare has subscribed to 10,000 equity shares of face value ₹10 each, fully in cash, making it a 100% owned subsidiary.
The move reflects Metropolis’s efforts to strengthen its presence in healthcare innovation and expand into technology-led solutions alongside its core diagnostics business. The company clarified that no governmental or regulatory approvals were required for the incorporation.
Metropolis Healthcare, a leading diagnostics chain in India, said that the establishment of this new entity would provide opportunities to scale technology initiatives within the healthcare space.
