MedPlus Health Services Limited informed the exchanges on Thursday that its subsidiary, Optival Health Solutions Private Limited, has received a suspension order for a drug license of one of its stores located in Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh.

According to the company’s regulatory filing, the Assistant Director of the Drug Control Administration, Vizianagaram District, issued the order on October 8, 2025, citing violations under Rule 65 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, and Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945.

The suspension, which applies for a seven-day period, affects the company’s store situated at Alaknanda Colony, KVR Empire Building, in Vizianagaram. MedPlus stated that the impact on financial operations would be minimal, estimating a potential revenue loss of approximately Rs 0.91 lakh due to the temporary closure.

The company confirmed that this development will not have any material impact on its overall business operations and that necessary steps are being taken to comply with the regulatory requirements.
