Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited has informed the exchanges that the Brazilian Navy and the Indian Navy have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the company on 9 December 2025. The agreement focuses on the exchange of information related to the maintenance of Scorpène-class submarines and other military vessels.
According to the company, the MoU outlines cooperation in several areas, including procurement-related opportunities, sharing of experience in defence manufacturing, and collaboration in research, development, and technological innovation. The arrangement is aimed at facilitating structured information exchange between the participating navies and Mazagon Dock on technical and operational aspects relevant to submarine and ship maintenance.
Mazagon Dock stated that the partnership provides a formal framework for continued engagement among the parties on areas specified under the agreement.
